The Implementation
The use of Artificial Intelligence doesn’t stop at Digital PR. We therefore use AI as a tool to make our Digital PR campaigns more innovative and implement them more efficiently.
When it comes to relevant topics around sports, soccer dominates the headlines. In addition to media outlets specializing in the sport, there are journalists in regional media who specifically report on Bundesliga clubs.
Since there are already various databases on the relevant soccer leagues, the challenge was to find a topic that stands out from the usual content. The professionals of the Bundesliga teams cut a good figure on and off the field, which is why the idea arose to choose the most attractive club.
To implement the topic idea, we applied a ResNet architecture based on an AI model. We applied this to a total of 517 profile pictures from the 1st Bundesliga and 512 images from the 2nd Bundesliga, calculating a scale between one and ten. Subsequently, the average value was determined according to team and position.
